While I was filming at the cemetery, these men came to speak to me. When I told them I was from Japan, one of them said angrily to me, "We Iraqis welcome every person from every country. But do not send any troops. No. If you send troops, we will fight them. Every country that sends troops is our enemy. Every country that sends troops is committing a crime, just like the United States. Sending troops makes the country a partner of the US, a criminal nation. Iraq needs rebuilding, we don't need foreign armed forces. When families are forced to flee and residents are killed, where do you say we can find democracy?"
